Looking in my backyard today, in 10 minutes time,

Hooray for NY!
It came down to the wire, but I am so happy that the NY legislation passed the gay marriage bill into law last night! I can only hope that more states will follow in NY’s footsteps. And kudos to Governo Cuomo for working so hard on this!

In May I decided to re-read the whole Harry Potter series again. Last night I finished the Half Blood Prince. Today I’m starting the Deathly Hallows. I realized that I have now read books 1-6 three times each, and this will only be the second time I am reading book 7. I feel like I cheated book 7 and should read it two times in a row.
